Swimming Senior Dogs
Swimming Senior Dogs

We believe that swimming is one of the best techniques available to help with increasing muscle mass which aids mobility. The absence of impact on the joints during swimming makes it the perfect exercise for dogs with arthritis or those recovering post surgery.

Our patients range from the lovely seniors (as pictured) to young enthusiastic dogs who had injuries to their legs. We have also successfully helped dogs with weightloss through regular swimming.

If you have senior dogs that have trouble getting up or no longer enjoy long walks, do consider weekly swims to help them. In combination with massage therapy, their bodies will be able to move better, have fewer injuries and this will in turn lift their spirits and help them live a longer, happier and healthier life. 🙂
