Minimum 2 pax, maximum 5 pax
Each participant is allowed to bring one dog with them. The lesson is customised to the pet dog that you bring.

Private one-on-one session is available as well, please contact us for more details.

No aggressive dogs are allowed in the class and the dog must be able to handle human touch calmly.

BCMT Program Course Outline

Course Duration
Conducted over 2 half days (each session is about 3 hours)

Please note that this class does NOT certify the participant to massage dogs professionally. It teaches dog owners to conduct a relaxation massage session for their own pet dog.

The Basic Canine Massage Training Program covers the following topics:

  • Basic Anatomy of the Dog

    Basic Massage Techniques
    (Effluerage, Compression, Stretching, Flexion and Extension, Thumb Walk, Rotation)

    Relaxation Massage Sequence

  • Benefits of Massage on the Pet

    What to watch out for when massaging your dog

    Ambience for the massage

    When to bring your dog to see the vet/
    When to NOT massage
    (fever, pain, etc.)

    Importance of support on the knee joint

    Useful acupoints for common issues
